Recently, a research team from the Solid Waste and Chemicals Management Technology Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the China Railway Fifth Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. visited Anning City to investigate the progress of phosphogypsum comprehensive utilization.

Recently, at the raw material warehouse of Hubei Yifu Jinchun New Materials Co., Ltd., a reclaimer machine was busy grabbing white phosphogypsum powder and transferring it via conveyor belts to a buffer silo. Afterward, the phosphogypsum undergoes multiple processing steps, including drying, crushing, and ultra-fine grinding, before being turned into finished products for packaging.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), together with six other departments, has jointly released the Action Plan for the Comprehensive Utilization of Phosphogypsum. The plan sets clear development goals for 2026, aiming to achieve a significant leap in the sustainable and efficient use of phosphogypsum resources across China
