From May 8 to 10, 2025, the Cellulose and Gypsum Technology Innovation Conference and Exhibition was successfully held in Jinzhou City, Hebei Province. The event was guided by the Shijiazhuang Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology and the Jinzhou Bureau of Science, Technology and Industrial Information Technology, and jointly organized by the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of Building Materials Industry, the Hebei Fine Chemical Industry Association, and the Gypsum Building Materials Branch of the China Building Materials Federation.

On April 25, at the Yuntianhua Red Phosphorus Chemical Plant in Kaiyuan City, Yunnan Province, a phosphogypsum fluorine and phosphorus deep purification and resource utilization project (referred to as the Phosphogypsum Resource Utilization Project), newly developed by Shanghai Xigu Technology, successfully completed pilot-scale and industrial validation tests.

Recently, a research team from the Solid Waste and Chemicals Management Technology Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the China Railway Fifth Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. visited Anning City to investigate the progress of phosphogypsum comprehensive utilization.

Recently, at the raw material warehouse of Hubei Yifu Jinchun New Materials Co., Ltd., a reclaimer machine was busy grabbing white phosphogypsum powder and transferring it via conveyor belts to a buffer silo. Afterward, the phosphogypsum undergoes multiple processing steps, including drying, crushing, and ultra-fine grinding, before being turned into finished products for packaging.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), together with six other departments, has jointly released the Action Plan for the Comprehensive Utilization of Phosphogypsum.
