The gypsum powder manufacturing machine developed by Hengshui Decheng Machinery & Equipment Co.,Ltd is built to convert raw gypsum material into fine, consistent powder for various industrial and construction applications.
Primary Functions
This machine includes systems for crushing, grinding, calcining, cooling, and packaging. Gypsum rock or desulfurized gypsum is fed into a crusher, which reduces it to manageable size. The crushed material is transferred to a grinding mill where it is further processed into a fine powder.
Calcination and Cooling
After grinding, the powder is sent to a calcining unit—either a rotary kiln or a fluidized bed furnace. In this stage, the gypsum is heated to remove bound water, transforming it into calcium sulfate hemihydrate. The resulting material, commonly known as stucco, is cooled before further handling.
Cooling is conducted via indirect air systems to avoid moisture reabsorption. The temperature is closely monitored to ensure product quality and prevent caking.
Conveying and Storage
Screw conveyors, bucket elevators, and pneumatic transport systems are used to move the powder through each stage. Once cooled, the powder is stored in sealed silos equipped with aeration systems to preserve its flowability and chemical stability.
Packaging and Control
The machine includes packaging stations that can fill bags of various sizes or load bulk material into containers. Throughout the process, sensors and automated controls track weight, temperature, and material flow, allowing for precise adjustments.
Applications
The end product is used in plaster mixes, gypsum board manufacturing, and as a soil conditioner. The consistent quality achieved by this machine makes it suitable for industries that demand uniform performance from their raw materials.
