Primary Crushing and Grinding
The manufacturing process starts with a crusher that reduces raw gypsum rocks into smaller particles. These particles are then ground in a mill, typically a Raymond mill or ball mill, to achieve the desired particle size.
Calcination Equipment
One of the key components of the gypsum powder machine is the calciner. This unit heats the ground gypsum to remove its water of crystallization, converting it into calcium sulfate hemihydrate (commonly called stucco). The calciner must operate at precise temperatures to avoid under or over-calcination.
Cooling and Conveying
After calcination, the stucco passes through a cooling unit. Proper cooling is critical to maintaining powder quality and preventing premature setting. Screw conveyors or pneumatic systems transport the cooled powder to storage silos.
Control Systems
Automated control panels monitor temperature, feed rate, and product flow throughout the system. Real-time data ensures that the equipment operates within optimal ranges, reducing waste and improving output.
Dust Collection and Safety
