Recently, good news came from the Makhmour Gypsum Board and Gypsum Powder Plant Project in Erbil Province, Iraq — the successful hoisting of the rotary kiln, the main and most critical piece of equipment for the production line, has been completed. This milestone marks the transition of the project into the full-scale equipment installation phase, signaling a new wave of accelerated construction progress.

While continuously expanding production capacity, Jingda adheres to innovation-driven development and has obtained more than 20 invention patents. Through deepened cooperation and technological synergy with Wengfu Dazhou Chemical Co., Ltd., the company has established a “phosphoric acid–phosphogypsum–building materials” circular industrial chain, realizing closed-loop resource utilization and contributing to sustainable green development.

Against this backdrop, the Institute of Technical Information for Building Materials Industry and the Gypsum Building Materials Branch of the China Building Materials Federation will jointly hold the “19th National Gypsum Technology Exchange Conference 2025” in Yidu, Hubei Province, from November 12 to 14, 2025. At the same time, the “6th Phosphogypsum Comprehensive Utilization Seminar” will also take place.

Phosphogypsum is a solid waste generated during the wet-process phosphoric acid production, with calcium sulfate dihydrate as its main component. Its composition is relatively complex, containing not only calcium sulfate but also incompletely decomposed phosphate rock, residual phosphoric acid, fluorides, acid-insoluble substances, and organic matter. Among these, fluorine and organic matter have the greatest impact on the resource utilization of phosphogypsum.

The 200,000-ton-per-year lightweight gypsum plaster mortar project of Xiwuzhumuqin Banner Yuanfeng Industrial is located in the Baiyinhu Economic Development Zone, Xiwuzhumuqin Banner. The project is invested and constructed by Huolinguole Liwei Loading and Unloading Co., Ltd., and primarily uses desulfurized gypsum as the raw material for producing lightweight gypsum plaster mortar.
