On April 11, 2024, the Standard and Quality Department of the China Building Materials Federation, the Institute of Technology and Information of the Building Materials Industry, and the Gypsum Building Materials Branch of the China Building Materials Federation organized a review meeting for the foreign language version of the association standard for "Gypsum Board" in Beijing. 13 people from scientific research institutes, universities, industry associations, testing agencies, and production enterprise representatives attended the meeting.

At 11:40 on April 17, with a long whistle, a train loaded with desulfurized gypsum slowly drove out of Bijie East Station in Guizhou, and went out to sea through Fangchenggang, Guangxi, starting its "cross-border journey" and transported to Jinpu Wharf in Vietnam, starting a new journey of high-quality development of Guizhou's inland open economy.

Recently, the first domestic trade of desulfurized gypsum was successfully loaded and shipped at berth 2# of Binhai Port General Terminal. The desulfurized gypsum business totaled 20,000 tons, which was transferred to the operation area of Binhai Port Terminal by horizontal transport vehicles, and then transported to Suizhong Terminal in Huludao City, Liaoning Province by the "Changshenglong" ship, filling the gap of domestic trade of gypsum in Binhai Port District and opening a new chapter of port external linkage.
